Our history
Altena Engineering was founded on the belief that high-quality protection technologies should not be restricted to major corporations or government institutions.
Drawing on extensive experience in protection systems, materials, manufacturing technology and integration, the company was established to make modern protection solutions more accessible, efficient and cost-effective.
What began as a specialist supplier of ballistic components quickly developed into an expert partner for bespoke protection concepts, vehicle protection, body armour and custom armour-steel solutions.
